Request form. Or view the articles in PDF format with
Acrobat Reader. (If you do not have Acrobat reader installed
see download instructions.)

In
order to properly access and download the files on this
site, certain software utilities programs must be installed
on your computer. This can be accomplished right from
this page and only has to be done once. Please download
and install the following programs:
- Adobe
Acrobat Reader
Many files on this site are in PDF format. A program
called Acrobat Reader (we recommend updating to version
5.0) must be downloaded and installed on your computer
before PDF files can be viewed.
- Click
here to download Acrobat
Reader.
- Close
your browser and disconnect from the Internet.
- Execute
the program by double-clicking the EXE file you
just downloaded.
- Follow
the setup instructions on the screen.
- Opening
PDF Files in your browser window
Simply double-click on the PDF file and it
should open in Acrobat Reader, within your browser window.
- Saving
PDF Files
Simply right click on the PDF file that you
want to download, and chose Save Target As (Internet
Explorer) or Save Link As (Netscape), select file destination.
Once it is saved you may open it in Acrobat Reader.
- Copying
Text from PDF File and Pasting into Word
If
a PDF file is unlocked you may extract text, if it is
locked for security reasons, the following procedure
will not work.
After
PDF file has been downloaded to your
system open it in Acrobat Reader. To select text choose
Edit/Select All or select portions of text using the
text selection tool to highlight desired text, choose
Edit/Copy. Open Word document, select Edit/Paste and
the text should appear.
A
bit about download times...
Download times vary on the Internet depending on your
access service, net traffic and modem speed. A general
rule of thumb to estimate the download time of a file
is: at 28.8 KBps, ~ 5 min/MB, and at 14.4 KBps, ~10 min/MB.
